GolfMark Award
From 13/9/13 we are extremely pleased to have been awarded a GolfMark High Achiever award by England Golf. This recognises the hard work put in by our Professional, John Tozer, our Junior organiser, Beth Ratcliffe and the Junior Committee in putting in place a foundation for the future for our Club by encouraging youngsters to take up the game.
Clubmark award
As well as the GolfMark accreditation we are equally pleased to have been awarded a Clubmark award by Sport England.
Cornwall Sports Awards 2013
Finalists....
We were proud to be finalists in the 2013 Cornwall Sports Awards, our President Neville Helme and his wife Joan, Junior Organiser Beth Ratcliffe and Club Professional John Tozer all attended the Awards Ceremony at Newquay and all said they were humbled to be in the presence of some fantastic achievers. This nomination will inspire us to work hard in the coming years to maintain our commitment to introducing new golfers to the game both young and old.
